West Beach
About
With parking next to the beach and refreshment cafés serving drinks and hot and cold food, West beach is a quieter place to spend the day. Towards Aldwick, the Marine Park gardens, putting green and West Park are close by. A great place to watch and photograph our lovely sunsets.
Fossil Hunting
West Beach is great for some fossil hunting. In this area the coastline has an underlay of London Clay.
When the tide is out, you should be able to find areas of the beach where this clay has been exposed in which you can find fossils.
